Altered cutting boards :)

Hi everyone :)

I was inspired by Theresa when she altered some cutting boards from the dollar store recently!  I went to the dollar store and bought the same ones, however, I didn't have to spray paint them like Theresa did, as they were all ready red, and I knew I was using them for Christmas gifts :)

I used some Simple Stories Snap! papers on these along with other items I had in my stash to alter these -- I am giving them to family and friends for Christmas, and I will be pairing them with other kitchen goods :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  1. These are absolutely beautiful Julie! Loving all the pretty papers and details you added to each one of these! I don't know if you enter challenges, but this post would be so perfect for the "Christmas Gifts" theme at Allsorts challenge here: http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/

  6. Super cute!

I'm thinking that if you kept the decorations flat, you could coat them with the dishwasher-safe Mod Podge and actually use them. Hmmm... may have to do some experimenting!
