*A Sunday drive led us out of town* :):):):):):):):):):):):)

Hi all....

As mentioned in my last post...with degree's in Phoenix still hitting about 107 a day... what better excuse than to head out of town for the day??? :):):):):):) I mean, granted it was 95 where we headed....but still... that's less than 100! LOL! :):):):):):) And when the day looks like this.....

How can you resist a day in Sedona, Arizona??? :):):):):):):):):):) Sedona is a very unique and beautiful place... I believe it is the ONLY place in the world where the mountains are made of red clay!! :):):):) It really is a sight to behold :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Our first stop was to the Chapel of the Holy Cross... an AMAZING church that is built into the mountain... I don't personally practice the religion of this church, but it doesn't matter....when you visit here... you feel His presence... I can't even describe it... it is just beautiful! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) (Oh...and PS... I was REALLY good today and got LOTS of photos of just me and the kids... so I am counting these as my September photos with them...) :):):):):):):):):):):):)

A view from the inside :):):):):):):):):):)

Views from the mountainside around the church :):):):):):):):):):):):)

And I loveeeeeeeeeee these signs they have around the grounds of the church :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Then a few weeks ago, I was reading Paige's blog and I learned a 'new to me' location in Sedona called, "Crescent Moon Ranch"...and so we headed there next :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
And we had us a picnic lunch! :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And saw a creek.... :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And the BIGGEST spider web I have EVER seen before! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And a mountain that looks like he is giving us the "peace" symbol right there in the middle :):):):):):):):):):):)

And we had fun running around and checking the cool things around the park :):):):):):):):):):):)

And on our way back into Sedona... we saw HIM.......Look CLOSELY at the middle of the photo......

Do you know what it is??? It is a Javelina!!! A type of wild hog...and from what I can gather they are all OVER Sedona, but I have never seen one before!! It was FUN to see him... he seriously cleared this hillside in NO time flat... :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Then we walked in the art district of Sedona, and did a little window shopping :):):):):):):):):) And I swear...if this would HAVE been in Brookie's SIZE... I soooooooo would have gotten it for her! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):)

And some more tourist photos! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):)

And on the way home...we stopped at "Sunset Pointe" and got some more photos! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And BELIEVE it or not... with as jam packed as my weekend has been... I DID make a LO yesterday at Sherry's! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And a lot of peeps asked yesterday where I got Brookie's skirt... which is the one she is wearing in the above LO! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
I found it at "The Children's Place" at my local mall...and I found it in their online store too...

Thanks for stopping by... I really appreciate it... off to catch up with everyone! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
