some quick shares.... :):):):):):):):):):)

Hi all....

Sooooooooo i was feeling a little better yesterday...not 100%....but well enough to make a couple of pages while chillin' in the designated "sick" chair in the living room...lol :):):):):):):):):) thanks for all of your well wishes....found out today....its NOT the flu....but i have an ear congestion condition thingy that is making me dizzy and giving me a yucky tummy....go fig that your ear has that much power!! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):)

First...i wanted to share the lo i made for this weeks Scrapping the Music!!! :):):):):):):):) this weeks song is "beautiful dawn"....loveeeeeeeeeee this song!!!!! I chose the lyrics, "take me where the ocean meets the sky and the land." :):):):):):) I used a Kenner Road kit on this lo....plus some yummy flowers and leaves from Tonia's ETSY shop! :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Next I want to share some lo's i made just for fun!!! :):):):):):) First is......"Papa and his mini me" :):):):):):):):) This is my Father-in-law and his Halloween candy holder "Frankie" that looks JUST like him!! LOL! LOL! We call him mini me every year!!! LOL! I used Nikki Sivils' Boo-tiful line on this (besides the title which is AC thickers!) and i totally lifted my friend and fellow Nikki DT member Deana's genius idea of using the scalloped edges and made some ruffles!!! Of course....when i told Deana I was gonna be lifting her idea....lol...not sure if she appreciated me texting her about it at 11:30 at night...lol!!  LOVEEEEEEEEE U DEANA!!! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And the last one I did....is called...."the pioneers of the 1970's?" hehehehehehehe....this is me and my brother back in 1970-something...and i thought the dress i was wearing looked TOTALLY Laura Ingalls-ish!!! LOL! I used the newest NoelMignon.com kit on this one! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Thanks again for all the get well soons.....truly appreciate it!!! LOVE TO ALL! :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

  2. Julie, I am so happy you are feeling better. Love your pages. So so so awesome. Love those ruffles...You and Deanna are rockin' with that creative idea. So cute. I gotta find the picture of me when I was little dressed as an "old" lady....That would be a cool layout to make around this crazy Halloween time. Hope you get back to 100% soon. Hugs.

  4. These are just stunning LO's Julie...I'm glad you are feeling semi better....

    Now Missy......your dizziness and nausea...
I suffer from this from time to time...if its the same...,
its called labyrinthitis and its caused by a problem in the middle ear....doesnt mean you can feel pain in the middle ear. Mine gets blocked.
Its the worst ever feeling and it probably needs treating.
THe meds I take for this is Stemzine and Serc which one stops the dizziness and the world just swinging around me, and the other stops the nausea and vomiting which is like severe sea-sickness.
So if it gets any worse...will you promise you will go to the docs!!
    Promise me!
    xx

  13. Very happy to hear you're beginning to feel better! Yay! :-)

I ♥ all the LO's... especially the rockin' scallops/ruffles! That photo is pretty funny, too! LOL! :-)

One question on the last LO (btw... one year for Thanksgiving, my sister & I dressed up as Pilgrims. Must've been a cheesy 70's thing? LOL!) is that a patch on your eye or a glare on the photo? My youngest sister wore a patch on her eye for awhile when she was little (for Lazy Eye). It's still a problem for her, especially if she drinks. I don't really notice it, but I guess she does! :-)

    Love ya!

Did you wear glasses as a child? I did - lazy eye but it got better so most of my adult life I have not had to have glasses - unfortuately the accounting caught up with me and now I need glasses to do close work. I hope you continue to improve. Have a great week!
