A T-shirt quilt for my Dad :)

 Hi everyone :)

I wanted to share the latest T-shirt quilt I made.

A couple of months ago, I asked my Dad if he had saved any of my Mom's old T-shirts. He had. So I asked him if I could make him a T-shirt quilt out of them.... he said yes, and here is what I made for him :)

(Sorry for the bad lighting -- it was a Sunday when I finished this, and my Dad was over for lunch, so I had to hurry and take photos before he left)  :)

My Mom LOVED hot air balloons ... like obsessively so!! LOL!  My Dad took her to a local Winter event every year called "Glendale Glitter & Glow" -- the event had HUNDREDS of hot air balloons tethered to the ground and their handlers would just keep lighting them up all night long.  So she had A LOT of shirts from those events.

She always wanted to make it to Albuquerque, New Mexico to see their big hot air balloon festival ... but she never made it there, but someone obviously did and got her a T-shirt from there :)

PS... My Dad loved it :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)
