Thank you -- Die Cuttin' Divas :)

Hi everyone! :)

Our latest challenge is live over at Die Cuttin' Divas and this time, it is a sketch challenge :)

I made something for 6 of Brookie's Club Volleyball team, and I wanted some thank you cards to go with them :)

Brookie is 12, and was chosen to play for a 16 year old Club Volleyball team, so she was the youngest on the team that consisted of other 12-16 year old girls. This was a HARD season for all of them, as the coach and director of the team were not always good to the girls.  I won't go into details here, but it was a horrible season for the 6 girls that these cards are going to, so I wanted to make them something to remember the friendships they DID gain on this team, and to thank them for being a good friend to Brookie.

I made these with papers from Simple Stories :)

And here is our sketch :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  1. you are so sweet!! the girls are sure to love these along with your and Brookies kindness :)

  2. Very sweet cards for some special young ladies!

  3. I'm so sorry this season didn't turn out better. Very thoughtful of you to send cards to other girls who suffered under someone who clearly should not be coaching. New team next year?

  4. I'm sorry they didn't have a good season! It's a shame when people are suppose to help with the growth of a child ruin it! Maybe next year will be better... Your cards are sweet and I'm sure those girl will appreciate someone letting them know how amazing they really are! :)

  5. Oh that is such a lovely thought and I hope it encourages those girls.. life can have some hard knocks and I hope they grow through this hard season and are stronger for next year..

  6. You are soooooo sweet! I'm glad the girls didn't just quit. Hoping for a better season for them!

  7. How sweet of you... those poor girls!! there is nothing worse than a bad coach... ugh!! Good to let the girls know they are appreciated.
