Smile :)

Hi everyone :)

My mom would have been 73 this past Monday (the 27th), and it is our first birthday without her.  So I wanted to make something for my Dad to commemorate the day for him.

I made him a mini-album with photos of my Mom and family members through the years. (PS - he loved it!) :) I wanted to add tag to the front of the package for him, and I used the latest challenge from Tag, You're It as inspiration :)

I had some old Kraft mason jars that I cut a slit in the top to slide in the older Prima flower stems into them - so it would appear that the mason jars were vases for the flowers :)

The alphas are from Bo Bunny, the doily from Doodlebug Designs and the little red/pink hearts are from Julie Nutting/Prima :)

Here is their inspiration for the challenge :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  1. It's a beautiful Tag! I love the flowers and the smile word die... I see we have Moms that share the same Birthday. I'm sorry yours isn't around to celebrate them any more. :( Prayers to you & your family...
My Mom turned 75 and I took her out for some shopping & dinner. She seemed to enjoy it. Then we surprised her with a dairy queen cake later on that day. I think that was her favorite part! She loves Ice Cream! :)
