Make a U-Turn on Bonita Drive -- featuring Echo Park :)

Hi everyone :)

Our latest sketch challenge is LIVE over at The Memory Nest and I wanted to share my take on it!! :)

I used Echo Park's "The Wild Life" collection on my page :)

And I have to give a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to my bloggy friend Wendi for getting this photo for me ... while we were in Simi Valley, California on vacation in 2014 -- I didn't EVEN think about getting a photo of this street sign that became a running joke in my family --- but Wendi lives in Simi Valley ... and I contacted her and she got a photo of the street sign for me!! THANK YOU WENDI ... YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

The story that is happening all because of the photo Wendi got for me!!! THANK YOU again! :)

And here is our sketch :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  9. Isn't it fun how every family has these silly sayings and jokes that are "insider" and send them into peals of laughter, while those on the outside don't get it?! I love your special Bonita Drive story, Julie, and the fact that your friend took the anchor photo for your awesome layout!! Hugs, Darnell
