#LikeAGirl -- featuring Simple Stories :)

Hi everyone :)

During last years Super Bowl there was a commercial that stayed with me ... It was called "Like A Girl" ... and it was just pure genius .... it showed how girls self-esteem is affected by being compared to how they hit, how they run, how they fight ..."Like a Girl"  .... and one thing that I am most proud of with Brookie, is that we don't treat her how society looks at "girls" ... she wants to play in the dirt, go ahead ... she wants to play karate fighting ... go ahead ... you want to play sports, go ahead ... we don't want her to fall into society's mold of how a girl should be :)

Here is the commercial ---

Last month we went to Prescott, Arizona and we saw some of Brian's friends and stopped to chat with them ... while we were chatting, Brookie was digging in the dirt playing trying to dig out a big rock ...and it reminded me of the commercial that I mentioned above :)

So I wanted to make a layout documenting her playing in the dirt ...and what better collection to use than the "Enchanted" from Simple Stories?? :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  21. What a great girlie page - I would not have recognized that as Simple Stories. You make those pastels rock just as much as the bolder colors.
