Write by Me! -- featuring Bella Blvd. :)

Hi everyone :)

I just wanted to share a little project I made recently :)

I was inspired by this :)

I used Bella Blvd.'s "Finally Fall," "Man of the House," "Lovey Dovey," and "Making the Team" papers and embellishments on my project :)

I started out with this ....

An old cheese grater and some deco boxes

I put the first little deco box inside to give it a base (can't have anything fall out) :)

Then I took the other deco boxes and put them inside ... these will be holding pencils very soon :)

See?? Holding writing utensils ;)

And here it is all finished ... this is a pencil holder for Brookie's homework station :)

I put Bella Blvd. decorative tape around the handle of the cheese grater ...then hubby found me some hooks to hang her scissors from :)

And here is her homework station :)

And thanks to everyone that has donated to Brookie's "Jump Rope for Heart" campaign :)  It is still open for this week -- if you'd like to donate -- please see this post here :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  32. Oh, Julie, you are SO creative!!
I was watching a show on TV called Brain Games last night (recorded the series). There was one instance where they showed some grown-ups pictures of 'doodles'. They asked the adults to come up with things those doodles might be...no wrong answers. Most came up with no more than three creative imaginings. Then, they asked kids the same thing...and they had as many as 10 different answers. THEN, they went back to the grown ups with another doodle, and asked them to 'think like a child', and those grown-ups came up with more creative answers. That is you. You look at things and see things other adults do not. You have a marvelously creative brain!
