S & S :)

Hi everyone :)

Recently a co-worker and her girlfriend bought a house together and got engaged :)   I couldn't make it to their housewarming party due to a prior commitment -- but I wanted to make them a gift :)

Awhile ago, a friend of mine gave me these holiday cookie tins and I wanted to alter them for my friends :)

I started out with these ---

And I turned them into these ---

I covered the tins in Mod Podge and then added vintage book pages (from a book named "A Brave Woman" -- which I thought was PERFECT for them!) --- then I painted the top and bottom edges --- and then inked the book pages to give it a more vintage feel --- then finished it off by adding Potpourri inside the tins, covering them in burlap and tying them off with ribbon and jute :)

I also added a tag for them -- using some Simple Stories papers :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)
