These are a few of my favorite things :)

Hi everyone!! :)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! :) We did ... and I will be sharing some of our photos in my December Daily post soon :)

I made a couple of layouts for challenges that I wanted to share :)

The first one is for Frosted Designs :)  Their challenge was to use at least THREE words from the song, "These are a few of my Favorite Things" ... well, this challenge just screamed at me to play along ... for those that remember, I used to run a challenge blog called -- "These are a few of my Favorite Things" ... and I one of my DT member Jess told me about this stamp that was sold by a company that isn't around anymore that had the lyrics to this song on it!! So I HAD to BUY it!!! LOL!!! :)

So I used this stamp as the center of my layout that I made -- and that means I used ALL the words to the song :)

I used Lily Bee goodies on my layout :)

And the next challenge I played along with is Let's Get Sketchy's latest sketch :)

Here is their sketch --

And here is my take on it ... again using Lily Bee goodies on my layout :)

Look at little Adam :)

And I also wanted to share a couple last minute Christmas goodies I made ... that I am linking to Diana's Christmas challenge :)

For one of Adam's classes ... he is an assistant at the school office and one of the school employees gave him this little reindeer container filled with gum :)

So you know my little photo bomber had to invade my photo shoot!!! lol! :)

So I had Adam pop off the reindeer and I adhered it to a SRM stickers tube :)

And then I added some oatmeal to it and a little tag ... a bam! you have some Reindeer Food for Christmas Eve :)

Then the next project I have is a match box I altered to hold a gift card for Adam for Christmas :)  He is a huge NASCAR fan ... so I took one of his little NASCAR cars added a little tree to the top, some batting for "snow" and bam! instant gift card holder :)

For both the reindeer food container and the match box ... I used Gudrun's papers! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  43. Again, WOW! I don't know how you continue to come up with so many amazing creative ideas! I LOVE that gift box. So clever to tie a little tree to Adam's car for the top. And how awesome is that upcycled reindeer head on your reindeer food tube. Genius! Really gorgeous layouts, too! Baby Adam is the sweetest little guy ever! Love the mix of papers, and I really adore the mix of layered circles you used instead of the one big one in the sketch. Totally love the grid design on the first page, too. The little arrows are the perfect touch there!

  44. Such sweetness! I took a matchbox classic car and added snow in a wide mouth jar with lid and tied a tree on the back of the car and gave one to my Secret Santa Edna for Christmas and put one on my desk at work. I used that plastic fake snow and it sticks everywhere. Another friend says to use epsom salts and I like the batting too! I need to look for Jeremy's NASCAR cars. He has two my nephew got for him when he worked in Daytona when both Davey Allison and Alan Kulwicki autogrpahed the cars. Both of them perished, Davey in a race accident, Alan in a plane crash. I am not sure who to perserve them in a book because they are signed in sealed packages. Hmm..... Love all your hand made treasures.
