My It's Gonna be Ok Warrior :)

Hi all! :)

I wanted to share two layouts with you today using the AWESOME November Artful Delight kit!! :)

My first one is titled "You Are My It's Gonna Be OK Warrior"  ..... for those that are new to following me, Brookie was born with Port Wine Stains on about 40% of her body -- because of this, she has had 17 laser surgeries to remove them (they still aren't 100% gone ... she will most likely be having another surgery next year)  ... this photo was taken about a week after one of her surgeries in 2008.  She took one of my left over adhesive strips and made it into a head band ... with her animal print PJ's and the headband ... she reminded me of a warrior :)

A stencil mask comes with the Artful Delight November kit and I used it to mask my title pieces :)

I also wanted to share a few photos from this past weekend :)  We went to a friends daughter school auction earlier this year ... and with our $20.00 bid -- we won tickets to Old Tucson -- which is an old western town that has been featured in over 300 movies, TV shows and TV commercials (Young Guns was filmed there!!)  :)

The 'cowboys' putting on a gun fight show for us :)

The kids checking out an old school house :)

On a train ride around Old Tucson :)

Adam driving a car :) (((Not really .. it was on a track! LOL!!)))

Look Mom! No hands!!! :)

Brookie driving this time :)

"Shooting" :)  (((Not really ... they were air guns!! LOL!!)

But in this photo ... Adam really is shooting a REAL gun :)

My fave photo of the day :)

Ohhhhhh and I threw them all in jail *wink* :)

An old fashioned show was put on :)

This canon was used in a John Wayne movie that was filmed there :)

A replica of a Mercantile store :)

Brookie standing in the court room telling the "judge" that Adam was guilty and had to go to jail!! LOL!! :)

There really was this guy coming at us on his horse :)

The "cemetery" :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)
