It is very PUZZLING :)

Hi everyone!!

Our latest challenge is live at LESSology and today I want to share my take on our November challenge - Toy Story!! :)  Create an altered project using a TOY!!! :)

I recently purchased a BUNCH of vintage children's wooden blocks and have made A LOT of altered projects with them and I had more left over and was inspired by a block puzzle Michelle made and decided to try making a puzzle myself :)

Here are the blocks I started with :)

And here is what it looked like after I added the "first" layer of papers on the blocks :)

Then I took four tags from the Bo Bunny collection "Elf Magic" that I was using and cut them up to create my "puzzle" effect :)  And here is the four sides I turned into "puzzles" :)

And here is what the blocks look like when the puzzle is all mixed up :)

Can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Marion Smith Designs!!!

The winner will receive the Mad Tea Party paper collection!! :)

  3. Oooohhh... this post catapults me right back to when I was real young... my grandmother had a blockpuzzle like that with pictures on all sides of the blocks, I remember images of fairytales ('Cinderella' - Hansel and Gretel) I played with the puzzle for hours! You did a wonderful job making this Julie! Enjoy the day!
