Year of the Snake :)

Hi everyone :) 

Our latest challenge is live at Color Me Scrappy ... and this time along with our color palette the twist is to use FABRIC! :)

Here is my take on it :) 



Still using up the stash this year!! On this layout, I used Echo Park's Victoria Gardens and Sweet Day collections :) 

 



In February we went to Las Vegas for Brian's 40th birthday and the Bellagio's conservatory (my FAVE place in Las Vegas!!) it was all about the Year of the Snake!!! I loved the flower children in the gardens :) 

 



Here is our color palette for this challenge :)



And don't forget to add the fabric!! :)

  3. It must have been a fantastic place to visit. I love your colourful page. The photos looks amazing with all the lovely papers and embellishments. Every time I read about you trying to use old stash on you creations I get inspired to try do the same. It will have to be my goal for next year. Wish you a happy scrappy day :) x

  15. What a beautiful layout, Julie! I love the papers and all the fabulous layers and stitching! Totally love how you used the pom pom trim, too, and the stitching through the title letters is awesome. The fabric adds another fabulous layer!

  42. OHHHH! What a fun page-- I LOVE that pom pom layout! I absolutely love the photos-- it reminds me of all of the Cirque shows we've seen in LV and here. We've been to LV several times but never seen this garden-- guess I need to go there again:)
