I want to say quite sweetly - I love you - most completely

Hi everyone! :)

I wanted to share some layouts I made this weekend for some sketch challenges and and and and and to share something new in our home :)

The first one is for Artful Delight :)

Used lots and lots of Bella Blvd. on this one :)

And here is Artful Delight's sketch :)

The next one is for Elle's Studio latest Thursday sketch :)

I used Elle's Saltwater collection :)

And here is Elle's sketch this week :)

And now on the home front :)

We love our house that we bought last year ... but the youngest member of the home (AKA Brookie!!) has the SMALLEST bedroom, but the MOST stuff!! LOL!! Isn't that typical for all kids??? LOL!! :)

Anyhoo ... We had a lot of her toys in her bedroom - and then her larger toy items out in the family room (which doubles as my crafty area) ...

Sooooo what was happening A LOT was Brookie dragging toys either from or to her bedroom or the family room (depending on where she wanted to play) and it was causing quite a mess!!! Toys dragged from room to room and then some little 6 year old (AKA Brookie!) would get "Tired" and then NOT want to put everything back where it belonged (I know, I know, you are shocked!)  :)

So Saturday we went to IKEA (AKA My Happy Place!!!!) and bought a bunch of goodies for the Family Room/Crafty Space

I am kicking myself for not taking before pics ... but oh well ... here is the after :)

We bought Brookie an Expedit shelving unit with white buckets to put ALL her toys in ONE room :)

Ok ... so what is wrong with the bins??? Brookie can't tell what is in them :)  Mama to the rescue *wink* ....

I made tags for each bin using Bo Bunny's Camp-A-Lot collection to label each bin for her :)

Here are some close ups of some of the tags that I made!! :)

And here is her new "play" area across from the Expedit shelf unit :)

I changed the wall up a bit after taking the above photo... lol :)

Now ... here is something I am really proud of!!!! We also wanted to add curtains to this room ... before we had cheap vertical blinds and the room was toooooo hot with just those -- so I bought curtains at IKEA ... problem -- they were 7 1/4 inches too long  -- now ... you have all seen me sew on my pages (including the ones above!)  ... but I have never never never sewed curtains ... YIKES!! I was SCARED to do it ... but it needed to be done, as I wasn't going to have the curtains hang down 7 1/4 inches too long :)  So I measured, I pinned and then I sewed all 6 panels!!!!! (4 for this door, and 2 for the door by Brookie's play area) .... I couldn't believe I did it!! GO ME!!!! I was so happy I did it without screwing it up!! LOL!! :)

And I also picked up a new friend this weekend!!! I haven't named her yet ... but she is enjoying her new home in my crafty area!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

I would love an Ikea here - I can never find the right baskets to fit into my shelving - those bins are not available & look so nice & big. Just make sure Brookie NEVER climbs up to get stuff so it doesn't fall - I was always paranoid about that with my kiddos!
