I adore her smile, I cherish her hugs, I admire her heart, but most of all...I love that she is my daughter! :)

Hi everyone!

This week our latest challenge is live at Scrap Africa and this time we want you to use chipboard on your project! :)

Design Worx sponsored our design team for this challenge and I used two of their chipboard pieces on my layout! :)

Along with the Design Worx chipboard, I used some Studio Calico wood veneers and older Prima goodies :)

I also wanted to share some layouts I made for some recent challenges :)

The first one is for the latest challenge at About a Girl :)  This time they wanted to see some sunbursts on your page :)

I had never made a sunburst before, but I followed the tutorial on About a Girl's site and was able to make one -- Go ME!  :)

I used some Bella Blvd. goodies on my layout :)

After I added the sunbursts, I added Bella Blvd.'s designer tapes ... and then I stitched on top of the designer tapes :)

This is Brookie on her first birthday :)  We thought she was giving us some cute faces ... but then we realized she actually had an upset tummy and was a little sick on her first birthday :(

The next challenge I did was Laurel's challenge at Inspired By :)

Here is her inspo for this challenge :)

The colors reminded me of Fancy Pants "It's the Little Things" collection :) So that's what I used on my layout :)

And the next one I made was for Elle's Studio challenge :)

Their challenge was to put your journaling in a pocket :)  I used Elle's Studio's Serendipity Collection .... and before you say it ... I know, I know, I used the wrong "You're" on the small journal pennant :( I didn't realize it till I was taking photos of this :(

And here's my journaling that I have in my 'pocket' :)

And then here is a FUN challenge :) Mandy and her family are on Holiday right now, and their daughter Paige has been doing a stag jump at every place they visit ... welllllll Lizzy and I noticed on one of Mandy's posts, they she didn't share a stag jump from Paige, and Lizzy and I are like, WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? Where's our jump photo!?!?!?!? Well Mandy fixed that right up and her next blog post she gave me and Lizzy a photo to scrap!!! Sooooo Lizzy has all ready done her layout -- and I felt the pressure to get mine done! LOL!!  So here is mine :)

(And I have to add my disclosure ... Mandy and Lizzy are sooooooo above my scrappy level! So my work isn't even close to theirs! LOL!)

I used some older stash on here - Pink Paislee, Prima, and some other papers I don't even know who makes them! LOL :)

And my title -- "Might as well Jump" -- a little Rock-N-Roll trivia ... what song did I pull my title from??!!??!!?? :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  7. Are you freakin kidding me.... me way above your scrappin level!!! WHAT is that! My gosh girl...I *GASPED* - that jump LO is just INCREDIBLE (I actually though...oooh why didn't I think of that... and this, and that!) I LOVE the stitching through the title... the photo looks like its floating upon layers after laters.. and the distressed rubons? underneath at the bottom kinda looks like graffiti art.. perfect for a teenager shot.. Paige is at school right now but I CANT WAIT for her to see this!
You certainly need to wear a proud face cos this is as good as I see anywhere - AND I'm sure LIzzy would sure agree!
