"Scrapped" and "Scrapbook of Secrets" ~~ Mollie Cox Bryan

Hi everyone!! :)

It's not everyday that I talk about books on my bloggy (well... ok I never do!!) -- you all know primarily my passion on my blog is my scrapbooking -- but what you may NOT know about me is I am an AVID READER! :) I love to read :)

I have a ton of genres I like to read. Romance, Mystery, etc.  I am a huge Patricia Cornwell fan (even got to meet her at a book signing once ... dream come true!!), and thanks to bloggy friends Sheree and Staci -- I have also gotten hooked on Kristan Higgins and Jill Shalvis -- and thanks to my Mom I am now hooked on Nicholas Sparks (if he would ONLY make me stop bawling in EVERY book of his I read -- just saying! lol! -- but I have to admit, and don't hate on me Nicholas Sparks fans, I did NOT like "The Notebook" -- that is all, end of discussion on that one! ha!)

Anyhoo, so I am an avid reader :)

So I was walking though Barnes and Noble a couple of months ago, I come across a book with the title of "Scrapbook of Secrets" - WHOA!!!  A book about scrappers?!!??  And not just a designing type book that I have seen in the past???

So I read the synopsis -- not only is the book about scrapbookers, it's a MYSTERY too!!! Score!!! :)

I saw that this was book 2 of a series, but I couldn't find the first one at B&N, so I just bought it, because how could I pass it up??  :)

As you can see by the cover, the author of these books is  Mollie Cox Bryan -- and as soon as I got home I dove into "Scrapbook of Secrets" -- and I have to say, I LOVED IT!! :)

It was really fun, great flow to the whole book, and I loved that scrapbooking was involved through the entire book!! :)

And as soon as I finished it, I went onto my Kindle and bought "Scrapped" - and I LOVED that one too!

These books were great! I just loved the characters, the story lines, the scrapping in it! :)  One thing that I really loved about Mollie's books was at the end of the book she includes a glossary of scrapbook terms for those that might read these books and aren't scrappers, they will have all the 'scrappy' terms in the back :)

So if any of my friends out there are scrappers and readers too -- I truly recommend both of these books! :)

The opinions on these books are my own, I wasn't asked to write them, nor was I compensated for writing them, I just am sharing another side to myself with my bloggy friends! :)

Make sure to check out Mollie's site :)

And before I head out -- I want to share a couple of cards that I have made for some co-workers :)

Used some Fancy Pants from my stash :) -- still on a de-stashing mode this year :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)
