Lazy Sunday :)

Hi everyone! :)

I wanted to share a layout I made for the latest Chic Tags challenge :) Their challenge was to scrap your everyday goings on :)

I decided to scrap about our Sunday :)

Our Sunday's are typically lazy -- Brian helps me clean the house (I do bathrooms -- he does the floors) -- yes, I know, he is the bestest :) Every Sunday we cook dinner for both sets of parents that come over (so we have 8 people for dinner every Sunday) -- most times it is something in the crock-pot to make it easier :)  -- and this Sunday Brookie and I went to get pedicures :)

I used American Crafts and Chic Tags on my layout :)

In the photo with my fur-baby Mr. Dandy ... he is quite the jealous boy -- so anytime ANYONE gets near me ... he has to get all up in my face to remind me that HE is my BABY! LOL!! I was trying to get pics of me and Brookie's toes ... and he got right up in the camera to remind me again! HA!! Crazy baby boy!! :)

And I will probably be asked (I usually am! LOL!) so I will tell everyone up front :) The photo of my crock-pot ... yes ... it is three crock-pots in one!! I love it .. it is MY FAVE kitchen accessory EVER :) I got it at Wal-Mart about 3 years ago -- and we use it A LOT! :) I have seen other companies come out with ones since and it is just the bestest! :)  Since we feed 8 people every Sunday, we typically have the same thing in each crock-pot -- but the idea is so that you can be cooking three different things at once :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  35. Hi Julie! Love all the family photos, and had to laugh a little about the three crock pots! I have something similar, though probably not so new as yours. I love mine too, but it seems to take a LOT of electricity to run it! I used mine to set up an Easter buffet once, and it kept blowing a fuse, shutting my power off... Now that I'm in a different apartment, I haven't tested to see if the wiring here can handle it or not. If not, I may have to junk it and invest in a newer model I guess. (I mean, family get-togethers can be tough enough, I think!).. I see the Oz movie in your layouts too! Did you see it? Dear Daughter did, but she sounded slightly disappointed. (oh no!) I can't WAIT to see it, soon as it makes its way to the cheaper theaters. ~tina
