Just lovely....

Hi everyone!!

Thanks for all the anniversary love for me and Brian :)

Our latest challenge is live at Scrap Africa and this one's a good one :)

Here is our challenge --

The challenge is use only plain card stock, no patterned papers. But you are asked tot use at least 3 colors of card stock or more if you want to...and these you can alter by stamping or embossing or whatever way you want to.

So -- it's confession time!!! I am NOT a card stock girl ... I am 100% pattern paper girl -- so this one was REALLY hard for me -- but I must say, I did it and I LOVE how my layout turned out :) Who knew, huh Krista?? *wink* :)

So here is my layout for this challenge :)

Ok....here is what I did to create the look on my layout --- I took 3 pieces of Core-dinations Tim Holtz card stock ... and I stamped around all their edges -- then I took some Tim Holtz Distress inks and inked the edges over my stamping :)

I gotta tell you though -- Tim Holtz makes it look soooooo much easier than it was for me *wink* :)

I am not the best stamper in the world -- but I am trying to use more stamps this year -- since I have them :)

I hope you all can join us :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  2. What a fun challenge! I love the way yours turned out. I used to be almost 100% cardstock, but now I'm much more about the patterned paper - I should give this challenge a try to go back to my 'roots'....
