Love you!

Hi everyone!

Today I am up on the Helmar DT blog and I wanted to share my projects here too! :)

This week Helmar is joining up with Core'dinations!! I just love love love their cardstock papers and they work perfectly with Helmar!!

These are Brookie's Kindergarten school photos ... and now my question is ... how come my daughter always has the cutest hair and smiles when I take photos of her... and these professional photographers that go to the schools NEVER notice the her hair looks all messed up for this shot and her smile looks forced???!!???!!!?? lol... shaking my head... but she still looks ADORABLE :)

I also made 2 cards using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive glue and Core'dinations papers! :)

And I used some EAD stickerz too!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  1. So pretty, Julie! I love the bingo cards tucked in there and the pretty flourishes too! We're still waiting in the retake of Alexa's school pics from this year. Here's hoping they did a better job the second time around. LOL!

  5. Oh Julie this is the sweetest lo ever! Brookie looks so darn cute! I didn't notice the cute little pig tale sticking up until I read your posting. My first thought was how cute the pigtales looked. The person taking the pic must have been focusing on Brookies sweet smile! Yup, I found funny stuff with my kids school pics as well. One year we even had to have them taken over because the pic was so bad. I guess it happens....lol!!!

  11. It's because EVERY child's hair is messed up and they have a forced smile. After awhile, the photographers start to think that's just the best kids can look. That's my theory anyway. Every year, I'd get my stack of 33 pictures from the photographer (32 kids and my teacher set) and as I'd flip through them, there'd be one, maybe two, that totally captured the true beauty and/or personality of the child. Most of the rest ranged from ok to passable. Fortunately, very few were truly hideous.

  14. I've noticed the same thing about my kids' school photos. I think the photographers just have so many kids to photograph that they can't take the time to look, pose, and wait for the right type of smile. Your DD is adorable and I LOVE your layout. The bingo cards are awesome!
