And I'm done :)

Hi everyone! :)

I finished my Christmas cards last night! YAY!! :)

And today I went to Meri's house to make an ornament wreath :)

I won't lie -- I almost gave up on this :) Everyone there was using hot glue guns -- but here's the thing -- I can't use hot glue guns -- I have no feeling in my right hand (born with a nerve tumor in my wrist) -- so I have to be careful of all things HOT -- because I will NOT know when I have burned myself  -- which isn't good :) Soooooo I used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry glue --- and it worked -- but it was hard to get my first set of ornaments (or my base) onto the Styrofoam wreath with just the Quick Dry glue -- once I had that part set -- it was a lot easier getting everything else laid on here  :)

So, yes -- I almost didn't finish this project -- as I was getting frustrated with how it was going in the beginning -- but I had an AMAZING support system at Meri's house and they all convinced me to keep going!! And they were all right!! I finished it -- and here it is :)

Okie dokie -- a little info on this :) The Gold glass balls Meri had available for her guests, the colored balls my Mom painted for me awhile ago, the blown glass ornaments were Brian's before we met as were the wooden white ones :)

The Merry Christmas sign, the red berries, the big jingle bell, angel on the sliver moon were also items that Meri had available to her guests :)

I had sooooooo much fun with the girls that were there! It was fun catching up with everyone and seeing everyone's wreaths come together!!!! Thanks Meri for having me!!! :)

Peek-a-boo!!! Recognize someone in this photo?!?!?? *wink*

And now for the rest of my Christmas cards :)

I used a lot of different goodies 3indypapier.com papers, EAD Designs stickerz, Cosmo Cricket, Echo Park :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

I got a kick out of Brian especially because he is so easy-going. You two are so good together, and it was fun interacting with both of you at Meri's house.

  22. Wheew! Well done getting all those cards done...I've just started writing in mine. LOVE your wreath & the fact your friend's name is Meri...how appropriate is that for a wreath making hostess!!! Oh, & BTW, yep, know the 'other' version of the word 'thong' but like Karen Wray I REFUSE to give up on calling my summer foot ware that name. Thongs have been around forever...unlike those other things that disappear up your butt never to be seen again:):):):) Not that I'd know.......
