Hi everyone!
I recently mentioned that I was trying out for a DT -- well, I didn't make it :) .... I applied for a position as an altered designer for Bella Blvd. -- and they chose their new DT members on Thursday -- and I didn't get a notice that I was chosen -- but I still wanted to share the projects I made for their call :)
And when they have their next DT call... I will throw my hat in the ring again :)
I am super excited to see who did make the Bella Blvd. Team on Monday when they announce it! :)
First a Thanksgiving wreath I made ....
Next, I have a frame (it is 18X20 inches) that I found at an antique store and it didn't have a back to it -- no worries!! I hung wires from the back side and then used clothes pins to hang photos and other Bella Blvd. goodies from the wires --
Next, I took a wooden tree and turned it into a "Thankful" tree :) I left the journal card on the top blank, as I am going to have everyone that is over for Thanksgiving write something on it :)
And the last project I made for the DT call was a magnetic memo board -- I made this for Brookie's upcoming 6th birthday party!!! I am going to have her friends write her a little birthday note and then since it's a magnetic memo board, Brookie will be able to put them on here any way she wants :)
On the above pic ... ^^^^^^ you can see the little 3x3 inch cards I made for her friends to write a birthday note for Brookie :)
I took Bella Blvd. embellies/papers and made my own magnets by gluing the embellies/papers to magnet buttons!
And here is the magnetic memo board without the 3x3 cards on it :)

Sorry you didn't make the team Julie but love your attitiude about throwing your hat back into the ring.. I love all your projects,my favorite would have to be the antique frame with the wire on the back!!!! How clever is that???? I have frames sitting for years so I can't wait to do something with it!!!! Thank you for such amazing inspiration!

Oh Julie! I absolutely love the projects you made!!! I don't know why some are chosen and some are not for certain design teams, but it sure wasn't for lack of talent on your part! These creations are simply amazing and so cool!!!! Thanks for sharing them with us!!!!!

These projects are all STUNNING Julie! I'm sorry you didn't make it!! I applied for a couple of others and didn't make them either! One was clearly NOT an international call from their selection chosen (why they don't just say that and save us the trouble beats me!) but like you I've learnt to just "Keep Calm and Carry On!"

Those are all awesome projects!!! Having run a challenge blog at one time I can tell you just because you didn't get picked this time does not mean your work wasn't up to snuff. Usually there is such overwhelming response and even picking the very best of the best leaves you with too big a pile to narrow down any way but eenie meenie minie moe! Your work is always awesome :)

These are all really fabulous projects, Julie!! Love how you used the Bella products and I would have definitely picked you for the Team!! :) I tried out too, for layouts, but didn't make it either. But there's always next time.

Great projects Julie! I love them, and you should be so proud of them. I tried for this one too - total long shot, but I just love their stuff so I figured why not, no surprise that I wasn't picked up, but I'm glad that I went for it.

These are amazing projects Julie. Personally I think you are very good at showcasing a brand's products beautifully.
Oh it's tough putting yourself out there. If it makes you feel better, it's worse for internationals...there are even fewer spots..lol. Paper manufacturers do not like me at all.
ughhh! It's so hard to put yourself out there and not make it but know that your projects are deeply loved and enjoyed by your followers! I need to go back and look more because you have such amazing details on these Bella projects! They are precious and I am thinking the wreath will be on my list to do real soon.
