Altered gift box :)

Hi everyone!!!

Last week on LESSology, our latest challenge is live and this time we have named it ... "It's a Wrap!" ... show us how you wrap your gifts!!!!!

For mine, I re-purposed a jewelry box I got from one of those jewelry shows and I used some vintage dress pattern paper to cover it .....

Here is what I started with ----

And here is what I made with the above items....

I also made a little card for the inside -- and I also added a Starbucks gift card :)  Everything but the box and dress pattern, I got from BlueMoonScrapbooking.com

And Yvonne our fearless leader has created an E-Book for our one year anniversary with all of our "It's a Wrap" projects!!! It is AMAZING -- check it out HERE!!!! :)

I also wanted to share a layout I made for the latest "Child's Play" Challenge -- this time they wanted us to be inspired by "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein ---- well if you have been following me for awhile -- besides "To Kill a Mockingbird" -- "The Giving Tree" is one of my all time FAVE books!!

So I grabbed some Websters Pages that I got from BlueMoonScrapbooking.com and made my layout!!!

I wrote all the words to the story around my page! :)

We went to the lake in Prescott, Arizona last weekend and this is a photo of Brookie that I got while she was looking at the lake :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)

  1. Man! That's commitment with a capital 'C' writing the story on your LO like that - looks fab - a really neat design element! LOVE your 'wrap' too - that's the thing about parcels, you can have big flowers 'cos they're not squished into an envelope like a card is:):):)
