Trust your heart...

Hi everyone!!

*sigh* today is Brookie's FIRST DAY of Kindergarten!! You know I am going to cry, right?!!?!?! I will be posting pics of her FIRST day tomorrow!!! She is so excited and has been talking about this for about 6 months now!!! :)

And I *think* I have our computer issues fixed!! We got a new modem yesterday ... everything worked for an hour -- and then it was down again... *sigh* ... so I had to call the cable company back ... and they said they got it -- I had all my sites pulled up and BAM!! It was down again.... Thanks for all the love while it was down!!! :)

Today over on the LESSology blog I am sharing my take on the latest challenge -- having FUN with envelopes!!

I made a canvas for this challenge using old envelopes that I had -- and then I took a honeycomb mask to them and now they just look like a background paper on my canvas! lol! I also used a big butterfly I got from a gift bag a few weeks ago!! :)

I made this for my BFF's birthday which was at the end of July! :)

And here is our sponsor for this challenge!!! So EXCITED about this one!!

Gauche Alchemy is our sponsor this month!! They are offering a $15 gift certificate to their store!!!

Here is some information on the fabulous Gauche Alchemy!

 Thanks Gauche Alchemy!!!!!

And today at 8AM MST, I am live on the Helmar blog with another canvas!!!

This week at Helmar, we are distressing!! I decided to take distressing to inking! I had gone to the antique store last weekend and hit the jackpot with finding a vintage map, vintage travel stickers and some old Scrabble tiles -- so I decided to make a canvas with these items!!

I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue to adhere everything down and then used Distress Ink to go along the edges of my canvas and I also the ink to go across my stickers and postal stamps to give it a vintage look! To seal everything, I used Crystal Kote Gloss!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
