I decided for this hop to make blank cards for Brookie's new Kindergarten teacher! We gave them to her on "meet the teacher" night and she loved them! 

When I was done with making my cards, I gathered them in a pile (with envelopes of course! lol!) and used ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel to tie them together!!! I used Nikki's "School is Cool" line for my cards and how perfect is this ribbon for a teacher?!?!?!

Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles!

Hi everyone!!

I had a TOTAL blast last night filming for the upcoming TV/Webisode for the 'secret' manufacturer I was telling you all about in my last post!!! TOTAL BLAST!!! We laughed and had a great time!!! I can't wait till it is live and I can share my big secret with you!!! Thank you all for the love on my 'celebrity judge' status!!! You are all the bestest!!! I am still trying to catch up with everyone!!! I am hoping to do that tonight!!!! I am also trying out for a DT call that is out there right now... so I am trying to finish up projects for that ... so slowly, but surely, I will be catching up with you all this week!! I have MISSED you ALL!! :)

i.l.u. -- and scrapbooking weekend retreat update ;)

Hi everyone!!

I had an AMAZING time in Payson, Arizona this weekend at the scrappy retreat me and Krista went too!!!! It was so fun!!!! I was there from Friday through Sunday late afternoon and I made 27 layouts, 67 cards and 1 altered project!! 

I did my DT assignments first, then I was looking at my little carry tote that is SUPPOSED to only carry scrappy tools etc... and over the years (Yes, YEARS!!!) I have accumulated so MUCH little embellies in that bag... that I was determined to CLEAN it out by using it ALL!!!!! And I am proud to say that MOST of my projects I listed above were made using the stuff from that little tote bag!! GO ME!!!! :) I only had just a little pile of embellies left over from my bag after the end of the retreat!!  I will be slowly sharing my projects over the next few weeks -- I think you would all have my head on a platter if I shared everything at once! LOL! :)

Also -- I have some VERY exciting news to share!! I have been asked to be a celebrity judge for a manufacturer and it's being FILMED for an upcoming show on their website!! EEEEKKKK!!!! I can't give anymore away right now ... but as soon as I can, I will tell you all!

So tonight we are filming the show -- so again tonight, I won't be around.... but Tuesday, I should be back visiting all of you... I have missed you all!!! :)


 I am up on the Helmar blog today (at 8AM MST) and this week, we are playing along with Momenta! I love their papers and embellies!! For my project, I made two cards using their metal key embellies and using Helmar's 450 Quick Dry! (PS ... i.l.u. stands for I love you -- in case you were wondering! lol!)

Defining her own style...

Hi everyone!!!

Wanted to stop in today real quick to share a layout I made for the Lily Bee August sketch challenge!!

This is a layout about Brookie's new shoes she picked out for Kindergarten -- and the socks are what she decided to wear with the shoes ... lol... yes, it is August, and yes those are Easter Egg socks ;)  -- hence my "Defining her own style" title :)

And here is a little card I made with the left over square pieces from my layout... 

And I will be out of town this weekend!!! My friend Krista and I are going to Payson, Arizona for a scrapbooking getaway!!! I will be back Sunday night!!!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!! Miss me!!! *wink* :)

Eternal flowers....

Hi everyone!!'

Today (at 8AM MST) I have a new project over on the Blue Moon Blog! :)

I bought a mason jar at the antique store awhile ago and decided to make some paper flowers for one of my co-workers!!! :)

For my stems -- I wrapped wires in MME's decorative tape -- everything I used will be listed on Blue Moon's blog at 8AM MST....

Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to share some canvasses that I made as gifts for a friend and a cousin... 

The first one was for a housewarming present for a friend that recently moved into a new home :)

I used some DCWV paper that I got from Julie and some other goodies I got from Connie! :)

And the next one I have to share was for Brian's cousin and his wife who is having a baby girl soon!! 

I used some Fancy Pants that I got from BlueMoonScrapbooking.com :)

I left a spot for them to add a baby photo once she is born :)
