Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a layout I made with the ever YUMMY February Artful Delight kit!! I am SERIOUSLY in LOVE with the kits that Leeanne and Debbie put together! They are always JAM packed full of goodies!!
And I promise - this is NOT crooked in real life... ugh... I just can't make it look right in the photo... boo!
And on Saturday night - Leeanne at Artful Delight shared the March kit - and OH does it LOOK AWESOME!! I can't wait to play with it!! (Leeanne has all the products that are included in the kit on the Artful Delight blog!)

And and and and and Leeanne also ANNOUNCED the next DT call for Artful Delight!!! I totally encourage ALL of you to apply! Leeanne's kits are AMAZING and she is great to work for!!
And for those that are new to following me, one of my past DT members of Scrapping the Music Aleida Franklin was killed in a car accident 3 1/2 years ago - about a month and a half before she died, she realized that because of her self-image issue, she didn't have any pictures of her and her kids together - the day she died she taught me something that I have carried on since. I too was like her, always behind the camera, worried about a bad hair day, my big hips, my big thighs, no make up etc....and that's why I was never IN the pictures with Brian or the kids...
Aleida taught me so much that day - every month since then, I have had a photo taken with me and the kids together - because all they see is MOM... they don't see my bad hair days, my big hips, me not wearing make-up - they just see MOM!! And to me that is more important than what I 'think' I look like! For more on Aleida, please see my right side bar.
So here is this month's photo of me and my babies!
And I have also decided to have Brian start taking photos with him and the kids every month too....so here is their monthly photo together!
These were taken on Valentine's day on my cell phone.... We all wore red that day!

What a beautiful layout, Julie! The polka dots just make me happy and I adore the circular die cuts and the scalloped border. The quilled flowers are so pretty, too.
And LOVE your family photos this month! All the Valentine red is fabulous. Love that Brian is getting in on the tradition, also. :)

Amazing page, Julie!! I love the way you used the circular Jillibean elements! And I know what you mean about the crooked thing...I hate it when I get the photo, download it and find out it's crooked...then I can never get it straight enough!! But I think yours looks fine and the family photos are great!! :)

Oh Wow!!! LOVE the layout and all of your pictures and you are so RIGHT!!! Us moms really do need to worry less about our image and more about being in the pics with our families...I will try to work on that too!
