Remembering what today is all about :):):):)

Hi everyone....

Today, we headed to the cemetery as we do every new season to change the flowers in Brian's twins graves (from his previous marriage), and to visit other friends that are buried there.... well, today also happens to be Memorial Day here in the US... and when we pulled up to the cemetery...we saw the most amazing sight....

Someone put up this huge flag in the middle of the cemetery... WOW! It was a beautiful sight to see.....

Just to give you an idea on how big this flag was....Brian is 6 feet tall....  (he is in the blue shirt)

And someone there was nice enough to take a picture of all of us together...

And for those that have followed me for awhile... back in December we went to decorate the twins grave for Christmas... and their tree was gone ... we were happy today to see that the cemetery staff have replaced their tree :)

New flowers for the twins....

Brookie was having Daddy read the poem on this stone to her...

I was really proud to see all the flags placed at the service men and women's graves today.....

Thanks for stopping by... I appreciate it! :):):):):):)

  11. Happy Memorial Day Julie Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share today, and that flag is totally awesome. I love it. How beautiful it is a background for your family. I love the photo of Brookie sitting while Brian is reading her the writing. She is SO photogenic. Love that sweet girl.

So happy to see that the cemetery replaced the tree at the twins grave site. It should never have been removed.

I love seeing all the flags of the soldiers past. It is such a patriotic time for all of us. A reminder of the freedoms they fought for.

Back to work tomorrow. Many hugs and much love sweetie, Sherry
