*Attitude of Gratitude - Day Five...aka update on Brookie's surgery* :):):):):):):):):):)

Hi all....

Today I am grateful for Brookie's surgery going well yesterday! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) She was a little leery yesterday, as she remembers the "not so kid-friendly" experience she had when her tonsils were taken out (She is used to a children's hospital...and the tonsils were done at an "adult hospital")....so they gave her a relaxer yesterday before she went back for her procedure! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And here she is resting at home...they worked on her eyes this time (they haven't done that before)...so her eyes were sore when I took this photo (hence the cold washcloth cooling her eye).. :):):):):):)
Thank you ALL for your well wishes and prayers for her! We truly appreciate it! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And if I could ask prayers for Adam too... his Dad's good friend, whom Adam considered an "Uncle" was found recently after taking his own life... Adam was very close to him growing up, and his Dad will be heading here this month to take Adam to the memorial service... so, while Adam is dealing with this loss... please keep him in prayer :)

And I wanted to share a lo I made for the latest challenge on Scrapbookers Anonymous! :):):):):):):):):):) The challenge was to use Holiday themed papers for a Non-Holiday lo! :):):):):):):) I used Christmas papers that I have had for a few years from "Me & my Big ideas"...plus I threw in some flowers from my stash and some old Cosmo Cricket chipboard embellies! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Thanks for stopping by...I really appreciate it! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

  13. I hope Brookie bounces right back...and isn't so nice to have kid-friendly places that know how to work with small kids. We are having that problem with trying to find a good dentist for the kids! I will keep Adam in my prayers!! That's never easy to deal with for anyone.
