*and the convo went a little like this....AND Deana...you have turned me!* :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

hi all.....

Sooooooooooo tonight Brookie starts by saying.....

Brookie: "Mama?"
Me: "Yes, Brookie?"
Brookie: "You never took me to the store on Thursday" (side note....remember from a previous post...EVERYDAY is Thursday to Brookie! LOL!)
Me: "You mean Saturday Baby.  And yes, we did go to the store on Saturday, we got you and Adam new clothes"
Brookie: "No Mama, you never took me to get a boyfriend at the store like you said we would"
Me: "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I see.  You mean the boyfriend that has to wear a blue shirt?"
Brookie: "Yes Mama, you never took me for that"
Me: "Oh but we did Brookie, remember Adam was wearing a blue shirt at the store, so doesn't that make him your boyfriend now?"
Brookie: "NO! MAMA! {{in her outside voice at me! LOL!}} Abum's my broder {{brother for those that don't speak Brookie}} NOT my boyfriend, and he's TOO OLD! I need a boyfriend my age!"

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo I have been told by Brookie that we aren't quite done looking for said boyfriend that is age three and wears blue shirts... *sigh* what's a Mom to do?? LOL :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) Cuz big brother just isn't good enough! LOL! Poor Abum! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) (And ... YES! Brookie knows all the lyrics to Beyonce's "Single Ladies"...lol!)

And after years and years and years of telling Deana, Dora, Sarah, Erin, Diana, Heidi, Jessi and ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just about everyone in the scrappy world... that I am sooooooooooooooooooo NOT a card maker... ummmmmmmmm I think Deana has finally turned me!! (and the reason I tag her with turning me...cuz NO matter how many times I say...UGH... "Woman! I can NOT make cards! FORGET IT!"....her RESPONSE to me is ALWAYS..."YES! YOU! CAN!"  LOL!)  Nooooooooooooo I am not giving up scrapping pages (Um..that would be a NEVER...LOL!) BUT I have gotten better and more at EASE at making cards!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Here is one I made for my Goddaughters upcoming birthday! I made this using Nikki Sivils NEW Blueberry Hill line! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
*sigh...me loves CLOUDS!* :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And here is one I made for my friend's birthday and her Mom's birthday too...using Bo Bunny's Sun Kissed and Sophie collections!! Love the colors on these! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Thanks for stopping by... I appreciate it! :):):):):):):):):) Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and before I head out... 5. Ok... listen here, Julie. YOU ARE A CARDMAKER. A REALLY GOOD ONE! THE END.

As for poor Brookie in her search for a boyfriend... I have to agree. Abum is her broder... and that is SO not a boyfriend. Sorry Abum...

I'm going to be getting a gun myself. Want to go shopping with me? LOL! :-)

  8. I don't "DO" cards either.... I OCCASSIONALLY will do one or two...so I"m totally on your vibe here. But your cards are really fab... I guess it's all how you look at it right... maybe if I (we) KNOW our cards will be good enough, then they will be...does that make sense? I think I'm trying to say that we're (yes me..and I'm only speaking for you if you think I am) anyway..we're setting our card expectations as high as our layout expectations and we shouldn't ... we still have lots of card making to practice... ok, that works for me..I'm stickig with that story...lol!!
