*Every Mom needs her very own Superhero*...aka...dedicated to Diana! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Hi all.....

Thanks again for all the love and prayers for Brookie....this time she is more aware of the swelling...and keeps complaining that her hand hurts....which is the place that has the most swelling right now (probably cuz she uses it a lot....).....but other than that...she seems to be doing better! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) This is her wake up look (which I must say, looks better than her Mama's wake up look! LOL!) :):):):):):):):):):)

And I also want to thank all of you that went over to the Blue Moon DT Blog yesterday with my latest creations using the "De-Lovely" line from Cosmo Cricket....which leads me to my NEXT lo!! LOL!! This has a two-part story to go along with this....so sit back and enjoy! LOL :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Soooooooooooo....Diana...one of my "bosses" on Sketchy Thursdays.....left me a comment yesterday on the Blue Moon DT blog....stating that she LOVED my lo's....but she can't see the "De-Lovely" line being used on a BOYS page, (Diana has a son....).....and I was like...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel a challenge coming on!!! LOL!! Then I also saw yesterday...that on Sketchy Thursdays...they announced the sponsor for this challenge...and I was LIKE...ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm can I pretend I don't work for them and do ANOTHER lo for this sketch and play along??!!?? LOL! I can't really....but the thought did cross my mind! LOL!! Sooooooooooo....I was like...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....now I have TWO CHALLENGES in front of me here...I have Diana saying that she doesn't think the "De-Lovely" line can be used for boys....and I want to DO ANOTHER LO for the latest Sketchy Thursdays sketch....soooooooo there you have it! :):):):):):):) That is my story and I am sticking to it..... and here is the result for Diana! :):):):):):):):):):):)

I chose this title....because in the photos...Diana's son is dressed up as Superman and Spiderman!!! Ohhhhhhhhhh and Diana.....tell him I'm related to Superman....really...I am!!! Let's hope that if the page doesn't impress him....maybe that will! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And here is this weeks sketch again as a reminder of what I used :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

So....see....I can make a boys page with this line! LOL!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)  Hope you like it Diana! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And I made another lo using the July ScrapbookCircle.com kit!!! SERIOUSLY in LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE with this kit!!!!! Its like it was MADE for me....(well...maybe Sarah too!! LOL!) as it is FULL OF CIRCLES!!! I loveeeeeeeeeeee me some circles! :):):):):):):):):):) Brookie's daycare recently had a pony come to her school and they did pony rides (with photos! YAY!) for the kids!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh and one more thing....my friend Jennifer is getting close to her 500th blog post (WOW!) and she is also getting close to 200 followers (DOUBLE WOW!).... Head on over HERE HERE HERE to get in on some great little RAK's that she will be giving away once she hits 200 followers and her 500th post!!! Tell her I sent ya! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Thanks for stopping by....I appreciate it! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

  4. Hi Julie Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful job you did on this one. Did you prove Ms Diana wrong or what? Oh how precious this is. You did an awesome job sweet friend. I love it.

Ms Brookie on horseback is just stinkin darn cute. Giddy up Cowgirl. She looks so precious. This photo is just priceless for sure.

Thank you for sharing. Each day will get a little easier for her. I bet her being right-handed has a little to do with her hand hurting. Can you apply cool to it at all?

My prayers are with you both sweetie. I will be thinking of you two. I am sure she is having to stay inside where it is cool and not get hot at all.

Have a beautiful weekend. I love you girl. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

  10. Hello my gorgeous and wonderful friend. Such a long time since I was here and you amaze me with each post. I might not get time to come here and comment but your thought of often. Glad Brookie is doing better. HUGS to you and to her. I read your post about the op and could relate to that helpless feeling. When Megan was a new born, can't think how many days old, she had to go have a quick surgery and I couldn't watch them tube her up. It's an awful feeling watching kids go through stuff like that. Hugs and hope the weekend is a healing and refreshing one and the new week just plain old WONDERFUL!!! LOVE TO YOU from me :)

  14. Sweet Julie, first of all I'd like to apologize for being absent from your blog for so long. Life has been hectic the last few months, but is finally slowing down, which means I finally have the time again to follow my fave blogs. And I want to thank you for not giving up on me, and for continuing to leave me the sweetest comments on my blog, though you weren't at the receiving end - I soooo appreciate that!
Having been absent means I don't know what's been happening with Brookie. I'm gonna get caught up as soon as I finished writing this comment. In the meantime, give her a big kiss from me, and tell her lots of people from all over the world are thinking about her, and that's quite special, don't you think???
Your LO's are gorgeous! You definitely proved the De-Lovely line can be used for boy's LO's, no question about that. And I'm totally loving the papers in your cowgirl LO ... beautiful!!!
    Love xxx Peggy

  27. HI JULIE!!!
Oh my poor little Brookie!!that rash looks so painful, I feel her pain.
    That layout is amazing!!!
I Adore it actually it, I just do not have time to do traditional scrapbooks anymore, worked on the few (like 50 more) pages left to do on my traditional books, I began digital ones in 07 or 08, but my trip to all 50 states--well it took me 50 years to get to all 50, but those trips are being done the old way, I did about 10 or 12 pages and it took me about 6 hours!!!I would not sy they were fance or spectacular at all, you would probably laugh!!!Or not, but they are not that great, so I guess, I will stick to digital!!!
    hugs,
    jamie

  28. Hi Julie,
I am so sorry, somehow I missed your blog post about Miss Brookie's Port Wine Stain, I have never heard of this, when I looked at the pics, I assumed she had an allergic reaction to something. I have Never seen a pic of her with the rash before. Does it come and go???It looks like a severe allergic reaction to something. Will it go away or is laser the only option???I hear that laser hurts very bad, is this true???I will keep her in my Prayers.
If you can send me an email, I would like to send her a card , but I need your address!!
    hugs,
    jamie
