I hate evil people....aka...please be cautious...if U don't like bad words...watch out...I'm gonna use them!!!! :(

Hi all...

first and foremost I want to thank everyone for their support about our home robbery yesterday....Brian and I spent most of this morning running around replacing vital documents and making a million phone calls....and can ANYONE from the insurance industry tell me WHY after leaving TWO messages with the insurance adjuster and being promised by the claims people that I would get a call back in 24 hours....I have YET to get a call from THEM!?!?!?! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

Sooooooooo here is the few photos I want to share....I don't want to give away to much...as well....this is the internet.....

I just have to say bastards....bastards....bastards....there...my bad words are out of the way....that is what I consider the *bleeps* that did this yesterday are.....there are sooooooooooo many things that CAN NEVER be replaced that were kept in a "safe" place.......that really really really really tears me up....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr again.......

Here is my window they broke.....

Here is my door they messed up.....

Without saying too much...this is where everything WAS "safe"..... :(:(:(

This is the bastard's (ooopppppssss did it again....lol) hand and foot print on my headboard....and I promise...that's not dust...that was stuff the police put on my headboard...lol

And my window again.......

Sooooooooooo no smileys from me today....sorry....I'm just not into it today....but I am slowly making my way to all of your blogs while listening to HORRIBLE hold music while calling all the companies I need to call....thanks again for your love and support....love to all............

  1. Hey Julie,
So sorry about the robbery!!!! I know how it feels, we were robbed about 8-9 years ago, before we had an alarm!!! It is sooo hard to understand why people can not respect what other people have and cherish!!!!
I soo hope that you get all your documents and papers in order soon!! (((((HUGS))))) coming your way!!!!

  4. Julie, bless your heart. I had my car broken into once, and i know it doesn't compare to a home invasion, but i know i felt soo violated with just that, so i can imagine how much worse your situation is. some friends of ours had their lake house broken into a few months ago and EVERYTHING was taken (from furniture to the food in the freezer). there are bastards out there. (you showed much more restraint w/ the language than i probably would have!) still thinking of you and your family. sending big hugs!!!
    love, Tonia

  6. Who is your insurance co?

I'm very glad to see there's a hand-print & foot-print. That just may be helpful. Although, even if they do catch the bastards ('cause I'm sure it was more than a 1-man job), it won't replace all your missing things.

So, so sorry. Still feel sick to my stomach over it... :-(

Love ya, girl... hang in there.

  9. Dang, Julie! I can't believe this! I have been out of town and I'm just now getting around to catching up on my favorite blogs. I have heard all about your new challenge blog and couldn't wait to come tell you how excited I am about it and then I am met with this horrible news! I am so, so sorry! My heart aches for the things you lost. I agree that the prints on the headboard could prove helpful...at least I hope so. Hang tough.

  11. I love that you just proved that dusting is a bad thing. Just think if you had dusted your headboard you wouldn't have that important piece of evidence to help capture those freaks who stole your stuff.

  12. Oh Julie....this totally sucks! They will be caught. We are here for you.....so vent away!

  18. Oh my gosh! I know what you're feeling right now. I was also robbed about a month ago. My luggage was stolen when I flew back from NYC by someone who broke into the car where I had my luggage! It's a long story but, I know what you're feeling right now. It is the worst feeling ever! Is a feeling of anger, sadness, sense of loss, impotent, etc... They stole my hard drive which stored all my files, my photos, school projects, my work of 2 hard years of school, my porfolio, etc....! I cried like a baby! But I learned one thing: everything happens for a reason even if we don't understand it now. I'm just so glad that you and your family are ok! My best wishes to you.

  19. Julie-I agree with you...BASTARDS! I'd actually probably have a few other choice words as well. I had my condo in Tempe broken into a few years back. Fortunately for me, everything taken was electronics and such and was nothing personal. Nonetheless, it is still a horrible feeling to have your life violated in such a way. I'm sorry that you and your family have to go through it :(

  23. Oh Julie, how terrible this is!! I'm so sorry this happened to you!!! The idea that strange people (aka bastards, lol) are in your house and touch and steel your belongings will make you totally mad, I think!

I hope Brookie is okay! How do you explain something like this to a young child without making it scared in its own house?

Wishing you and your family lots of strength!!

  25. They are shits ...we had it happen many many years ago ... during the night. I got over it with anger ...imagining all the things I could do to them ... they were not going to make me scared. My dd was 10 ish and it took her years to sleep with out a light and with out baracading her door with toy boxes. Good Luck with the insurance people.

  29. Ugh Julie - the worst of it is the air the bXXXXXXX leave behind - the same air you must breath....and the things they touch...

Heartbreaking - this I know. I watched my 2yrold try so hard to put the photos back up where the tv once stood. It was her instant reaction.
