Scrapping the Music.....ANOTHER new Brookie dress...and WHO IS UP FOR A RAK!?!?!?!?!?!?! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Hi all!!!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....I am gonna start this week off with a little RAK!!!!!! Ok...here it is!!!! Brian was off to a tournament today....and I was tired and the kids were tired of being stuck in the house....soooooooooooooo we took a little walk to a local antique store!!!!! OHHHHHHHHHHH the stuff I found!!!!!! Sooooooooooooo....I will share EVERYTHING I got in JUST a MOMENT....but but but but for my SCRAPPING FRIENDS......EEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!! I found a WHOLE BUNCH of the vintage chipboard milk caps (buttons) like Jenni Bowlin has!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!!!! And sooooooooooooooo I BOUGHT EVERY ONE that I FOUND...and I WANT TO SHARE them WITH U!!!!!!! Sooooooooooo.....I just counted them up....and I have 31 of them (of course...now ladies, I have to BE a little selfish here and KEEP....ohhhhhhhh SIX for myself!!! LOL) ..... THAT MEANS....I AM GOING to GIVE AWAY 25 ...YES!!!! 25 of them to SOME LUCKY LADIES!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....just leave me a comment....and NEXT SUNDAY when I post my NEXT Scrapping the Music page....I WILL LIST 25 WINNERS for some of these YUMMY YUMMY CHIPBOARD MILK CAPS!!!!! YAY! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And some MORE FINDS!!! If U know me....then U KNOW my ALL TIME FAVE BAND EVER is AEROSMITH (*insert swoon here*)....and I found one of their albums at the store!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! AND AND AND AND there's more!!!!!!! I found a wooden clog from HOLLAND!!!!! AND AND AND AND some VINTAGE BUTTONS...AND AND AND AND A VINTAGE KODAK CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If U know my family's history....I am FROM ROCHESTER, NY and ALL of MY FAMILY (starting with my Grandfather) worked for KODAK!!!!!..........and and and and and the LAST FIND of my DAY....and this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo FOR MY BFF DANI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found a "CHESTER" PLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that means nothing to all of U....but to DANI...it will MEAN EVERYTHING!!!!! A longggggggggggggggg time ago.....Dani and I went to Laughlin, Nevada for a weekend girls trip!!!! (Laughlin is a small gambling town right over the Arizona border!)....and there is a river that seperates Arizona and Nevada right on the border....and if U drive to the Arizona side, you can get some really COOL PHOTOS of the hotels/casinos in Laughlin.....sooooooooooooo the first night we are there....Dani and I decide to drive over to the Arizona side to get some photos!!!!! (Now mind U.....it is like 2 o'clock in the morning...and YES, we are SOBER!!! LOL) and we drive into this parking lot.....and I start taking photos....and all of a sudden a RACCOON comes up to her truck!!!! (*insert Arizonian warning here....DANI and I LIVE in the DESERT....we DO NOT, repeat....DO NOT live near ANY WILDLIFE!!!!*)....so Dani and I think HE IS ADORABLE.....however COMMA....we are FREAKED out....cuz we don't know if he can JUMP into our truck!!!! LOL LOL LOL....sooooooooooo we call her boyfriend and ask him (well....because he lives in New Jersey....and HE MUST know about WILDLIFE, right???? LOL)....and HE has NO IDEA either if they can JUMP!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!! At this point....I am DYING for a picture of this ADORABLE creature....and DANI has some CHEETOS in her truck......so, she opens the WINDOW just a crack and throws one out to him....and I climb in the backseat of the truck and start snapping the photos....LOL...at this POINT...we are BOTH ROLLING with LAUGHTER....people probably think we have been drinking!!!!!! Sooooooo....the RACCOON takes OFF!!!!! And we were like, "Well, even if these photos turn out pitch black...we will ALWAYS know that it was CHESTER!"......see, we named him CHESTER because of the CHEETOS....because their mascot has always BEEN "CHESTER THE CHEETAH!!!" LOL LOL LOL....NOW....here is the END of the STORY...I promise....and IF U READ all of this....I WILL LOVE U FOREVER!!!!! LOL!:):):):):) CHESTER COMES BACK with some of his FRIENDS!!!!! LOL LOL LOL.....now her truck is SURROUNDED by 15 RACOONS and we ONLY have 1/2 a bag left of CHEETOS!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!!! We will NEVER FORGET that story.....sooooooooooo when I SAW this plate with 2 CHESTERS on it....I KNEW I HAD TO GET IT FOR DANI!!!!!! LOVE U MY FRIEND! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Ok.....enough about the vintage, right???? LOL!!! Onto some other things today!!!!!!! :):):):):) Brookie.... has ANOTHER new DRESS!!!! I know this SHOCKS all of U....LOL....she truly is a PRINCESS and at this point in her LIFE....she ONLY wants to wear DRESSES!!!!!! And of course....what's a NEW DRESS without some new SOCKS?????? LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):)

Ok....the LAST....but NEVER the LEAST thing I want to share today....is the LATEST SCRAPPING the MUSIC Challenge!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!!! I am SUPER EXCITED about this one!!!! The song this week is "EVERYDAY" by the Dave Matthews Band!!! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this song (obviously right??? Its the FIRST song U hear on my playlist when U visit me here at my blog!!!) :):):):):):):):):):) This is ME in California last month visiting my friend Kristina...and I chose the lyrics...."All You Need Is Love Everyday!" ...because, yes my friends....EVEN I need reminding of that from time to time! :):):):):) Hope all my scrappy friends can join us this week! :):):):):):):):)

LOVE TO ALL! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

  7. What an incredible haul you made at the antique store and I would absolutely love a button/milk cap. thanks so much for sharing. Your story about the raccoon is so funny. Where I grew up, they were so numerous and assertive, I can remember my dad waiting in the shadows with a gun (yes, I said gun, not camera) to shoot them (hopefully just scare them off) because they would come up to our house and try to steal anything they could. Personallly I have always found them very cute, like little furry bandits, but I know they can really be pests. Just love Brooke's new outfit - the socks are to die for!

Those milk caps are the best! You certainly came back with some great finds. You and Sharmaine must be on the same wavelength with you going to the antique store and she going to the tip store. I will have to shop with you some day.

As for the racoon thing...I would totally freak out if I was surrounded by a gang of racoons. I had a friend who had one as a pet and they were mean...and oddly human like. That little booger could get into cabinets and open jars and weird stuff...freaky!!!
So glad that you had a grea weekend and I loov forward to STM...love me some DMB!!!
