I BLINKED and 2008 IS GONE! :):):):):):)

Hi all...

What a WILD RIDE the Tucker and Wolek's have had this year!!!!!! I thought I would do a QUICK recap of the events of our lives this year!!!!! :):):):):):)

Brookie had 3 surgeries....one was KINDA scary since she spiked a 102 fever the day after! Hoping that doesn't happen again!

WE GOT MARRIED!!!!! And our KIDS were our Best Man and Maid of Honor!

We went to Las Vegas for a Family HONEYMOON!

I got to go to Tennessee to attend SIStv's one year anniversary convention and I got to meet over 150 of my SISters!

I was asked to be on TWO Design Teams! *SWOON*

Some of my scrap pages won awards this year!

Brian went to Albuquerque, NM, to attend the annual bowling tournament!

Adam is ALL OF a SUDDEN 5' 2" TALL!

Brookie at 2....is 3'4" TALL!

We adopted Dandy!

My BFF Dani came out for my wedding! *SWOON*

My Aunt Mary came OUT twice....for the wedding and for Christmas!

Brian's Aunt Suzy and Uncle Richard made it out here for the wedding!

Aunt Pat visited!

Don & Loretta visited!

Dan and Pam visited!

All together......we had an AMAZING year....but SERIOUSLY, I blinked and its over!!!! I want to thank all my loyal readers...and the people that comment too....that truly means a lot to our family that U take the time out of your busy lives to see what is going on with our busy lives!!!! My friends over at SIStv have started a thread on the Message Board to show our top ten FAVE layout's we have made in 2008....in no particular order....here are mine!!!!! :):):):):):):):):):)

I thought once Christmas was over...things slowed down....YEAH RIGHT!!! LOL :):):):):)

Hi all....

MANY things to share with U!! :):):):):) A few scrap pages...one is dedicated to my WONDERFUL Aunt Mary who is here visiting over Christmas from NY....loveeeeeeeeee this WOMAN more than I can EVER express to her!!!! The other page is one I did for "The Pretty Committee's" latest challenge which is to scrap a family tradition...I chose Brian's families tradition of making YUMMY Perogies!!! :):):):):):):)

And again with Aunt Mary...this was her last night visiting with us as she is leaving tomorrow morning for back home :(:(:(:( Sooooooo....thanks to my Uncle Ron and Cousin Mike, we were as a family able to go to Cracker Barrell for dinner tonight with the gift certificate they sent us!! Thanks! :):):):):):):):) LOVEEEEEEEE Cracker Barrell....YUMMY food and YUMMY Country Gift Shop! :):):):):):):):):):)

And then.....on the way home....we stopped at MY ALL TIME FAVE Christmas decorated house!!!! This man Bern has been DECORATING his house for 54 YEARS!!!!! He uses 68,700 lights....and lets people WALK THROUGH his house to see all the decorations!!!! What is even MORE AMAZING....is he MAKES all the figures U see in my photos out of wood himself!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! He then sells them at the end of each season to anyone who wants them.....and I doooooooooooo I WANT one!!! I have been going to this house EVERY YEAR for over a decade....and ONE of these years....either before I die....or before Bern retires...I am GONNA be able to afford to buy one of his pieces....... theyare pricey though....they start at $100.00!!! SOMEDAY Julie....SOMEDAY!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

And I wanted to thank my blog friend Julie....and she is also a Design Team member of one of my favorite challenge blogs...Scrapping the Music....and she has awarded me with a scrappy award!!!! Thanks JULIE!!! That truly meant a lot to me! :):):):):):):):)

Hi all....

I know this is a couple days past Christmas Day....but it has been raining here all week in SUNNY Phoenix, AZ....LOL....and I wanted to share with U a shot I caught on Christmas.....as the day was winding down!!!! This BEAUTIFUL rainbow appeared as the rains were dying down in my neighborhood and it showed me that God's promise lives on! :):):):):):):):):):)

Aunt Mary is here from NY, Mike, Debbie, Ryan and Danielle and Ryan's new girlfriend (also a Danielle...LOL), Steve, my folks and us all gathered at Mike & Sue's for the night's events! :):):):):):):):)

And CAN I JUST say....that I am soooooooooooooooo HAPPY I married into a Polish family.....because YUM YUM YUM YUM....we get Perogi's!!!!!!!!!! Sue prepares them and Brian fries them.....and ohhhhhhhhhhhhh soooooo YUMMY!!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

On the way home we stopped and looked at one house that TOTALLY DECKS the HALLS with Christmas lights! :):):):):):)

And Mike & Sue have a SMILEY FACE ornament!!!!!!!!! U all KNOW I loveeeeeeeee my SMILEY FACES!!!!!! Think I might have to snag that off their tree and put it on mine! :):):):):):):):):):)

And today is a SPECIAL PERSON'S BIRTHDAY!!!! Just wanted to say Happy BIRTHDAY to MARK! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
